Motor Cultivator | 1920 |
Universal’s cultivator differed from most motor cultivators because the operator sat directly above the plow beams instead of behind them as usually practiced. A single rear wheel drove the machine using roller chains. An additional feature was the sweep mounted behind the drive wheel. It plowed out the wheel mark minimizing soil erosion.
Universal attempted to get their motor cultivator on the market in 1920. There is little more information available about this company.
